Mafia Crime Family Ranks:
Associate – Associates are brand new members of the MCF. As new members your job is to learn the ways of the MCF and begin promoting the clan.
Soldier (3 Recruits) - Soldiers are official "Made" members of the family. Soldiers start as Associates that have proven themselves. A Captain may recommend an up-and-coming Associate to be a new member. In the case that there is only one slot and multiple recommendations, the Don will decide. The new member usually becomes part of the Captain's crew that recommended him.
Captain or Capo (5 Recruits + 3 Weeks) - A Captain is one who has proved their loyalty to the MCF and is now charge of a crew. Consisting of up to five Soldiers, Captains run their own small family, but must follow the limitations and guidelines created by the Boss, as well as pay him his respect. Captains are nominated by the Underboss, but typically promoted by the Boss himself.
Consigliere (5 Recruits + 2 Soldiers) - Consigliere is an advisor to the family, the “Lackey” to the Underboss. They are often low profile gangsters that can be trusted. They keep the family looking as legitimate as possible through promoting the clan and recruiting members.
Lieutenant (5 Recruits + 4 Soldiers + 1 Month) - As a lieutenant you will lead a small crew of Captains, Soldiers and Associates in your clan. If the Boss or UnderBoss ask you to take a crew and do clan matching you are in charge.
Underboss (7 Recruits + 1 Consigliere + 3 Soldiers) - The Underboss, appointed by the Boss, is the second in command of the family. The Underboss is considered the Captain that is in charge of all of the other Captains, who is controlled by the Boss. If a Boss asks you to do anything, you do it. You lead as an example to all lower ranks under you. The Underboss is usually first in line to become Acting Boss if the Boss is demoted or removed from the MCF.
Boss (8 Recruits + 1 Underboss + 2 Lieutenant) - A Boss leads a clan in a division. You are to report to your Don about the progress of your clan regularly and keep him updated on any changes or anything. To become a Boss, you must be recommended by a Don, and approved by a Godfather. In addition to that you must have at least 10 recruits in your family.
Don (14 Recruits + 1 Boss) - As a Don you will be in charge of a branch of the family. Leading a division with several clans under you, it is your job to make sure that your division is running properly and without problems or confusion. In order to be promoted to Don, you must have a total of 17 verified recruits, or otherwise decided by the Godfather.
Advisor (19 Recruits + 1 Don) - Advisors do not have a specific clan or division for MCF. They basically go around to any division or clan and drop in on it to make sure that everything is running properly and to check in with the Dons and Boss's about the progress of there clans. They are the eyes and ears for the SuperBoss so that he knows what is going on everywhere in the family.
The Commissioners (39 Recruits + 1 Advisor) - As a member of the commission you will be making decisions with the rest of the commissioners, the Kingpin and the SuperBoss that reflect all of MCF. There will be only 10 commissioners at one time and they will be acting almost as a council to MCF.
Kingpin (Promoted by a SuperBoss, 50 Recruits) - A Kingpin is in charge of all of the divisions and clans within the family through the council of the SuperBoss and The Godfather. Like an Underboss to the Superboss. A Kingpin has control over anybody and any decisions as well. In order to become a Kingpin, a position must become available and the new Kingpin must be replaced by a new Commissioner.
SuperBoss (75 Recruits, Promoted by a Godfather) - A SuperBoss is the highest position in MCF without being a Godfather. The SuperBoss is the leader on any decisions made within the family through the consultation of the Godfather. He has complete control over anybody and any decisions, as well as having several families underneath him.
The Godfather – The creator and overseer of the MCF. The Godfather makes all decisions regarding the MCF through the council of the SuperBoss and Kingpin. The GodFather reserves the right to change, demote, remove, or replace any rank, aswell as ammend any attribute of the MCF.
